Watching Pink and Timberlake at Super Bowl, I felt a familiar pain

Yes, I watched the Super Bowl on Sunday. I decided politics would not impact my entertainment, and I did something my family has done every time there is a Super Bowl. I enjoyed the game—it was a good one although I didn’t have a favorite team in the match.

Band Mom: What’s behind that band on the stage?

The crowd began to gather early at Seawalk Community First Festival.

Watching a band develop is proving to be one of the more interesting experiences in my life. I could (and probably should because we have a nearly complete manuscript) publish a book.

But there’s one aspect of that experience I want to comment on today.
