Friday night in Fernandina Beach a cornucopia of music

Amelia Island is one of my family’s favorite places to go among the many places we enjoy here in Florida. The island’s historic charm blends with great places to shop, eat, and enjoy live music. This past Friday was no exception. We traveled up there to Fernandina Beach to hear live music at The Palace Saloon, but while we were there, we came across musicians performing in other venues. I was doing a bit of work while she drove when I saw the truck. Right in front of us. The back had a slogan: “best coffee on the interstate.” I realized I was drinking the same kind of coffee the truck was advertising. Sweet Sweet will head to North Florida this weekend for a gig at a venue I’m fond of because I’ve had good times there listening to my daughters perform. The venue, The Green Turtle, is known for quality music and fun times. So what’s so special about Sweet Sweet?  Continue reading “Out of Carolina: Sweet Sweet heads to North Florida”
