Author Dorothy K. Fletcher will share her stories at the launch of the new Friends of the Library speaker series at the library in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 6:30-7:45 p.m.
Dorothy has written nonfiction articles, a novel, books of poetry, a children’s book, and books on history. To say she is versatile is an understatement.
I’ve known Dorothy for quite some time, and she is a fascinating speaker. We shared the podium at the US Library of Congress for Florida Poets Arrive, and my publisher also brought out her poetry book, Zen Fishing and Other Southern Pleasures. I’ve known the writer Dorothy K. Fletcher for years, and we both have tire tracks down our backs from all the author events we’ve taken part in.
