The new mystery-romance novel ‘Derelict’ has been added to the Arts Market at Indie Art South as we continue to add items that readers might like. This novel was written by Rebecca Day, songwriter and frontwoman for The Crazy Daysies. Rebecca, as many readers already know, is my daughter.

Demands of music slowed it down, but artist’s novel ready for release

Most creatives are good at more than one discipline. I know photographers who can also draw and musicians who are great writers. It didn’t surprise me when Rebecca told me she was writing a novel. She and Jenn have both always been good writers.

New radio play for Daysies’ music, and novel release for Rebecca

It’s been awhile since the last personal update about The Crazy Daysies, so there’s lots to report.

'Derelict' novel by Rebecca DayRebecca Day and Jennifer Day Thompson have had a chaotic year so far, and it doesn’t look like things will calm down anytime soon. Jenn and her husband David welcomed a new addition to their family, and there’s never a dull moment with a six-month-old and an almost four-year-old around. Good news came in this week as the sisters learned their music would be featured on another radio station. We finally have a publication date for Rebecca’s novel.
