Florida filmmaker, on heels of success, wraps production on genre blend ‘The Waiting’

On the heels of wrapping a film picked up this year by robust distributor Gravitas Ventures, Rabbath set to work on a new film The Waiting. After a few weeks of editing, the new film will be sent to festivals.

Military veteran and other Florida filmmakers’ works officially selected for West Texas festival

The West Texas Film Festival announced Florida filmmakers’ works will be included in selections for the 2019 festival in Odessa Nov. 21-23. The festival, in its fourth year, showcases works that have the “pioneer spirit of filmmaking.” Among the Floridians whose works will be shown is a military veteran who is an enthusiastic outdoorsman and believes nature can be therapeutic. Versatile writer will share experiences at Ponte Vedra FOL author event

Author Dorothy K. Fletcher will share her stories at the launch of the new Friends of the Library speaker series at the library in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 6:30-7:45 p.m.

Dorothy has written nonfiction articles, a novel, books of poetry, a children’s book, and books on history. To say she is versatile is an understatement.

I’ve known Dorothy for quite some time, and she is a fascinating speaker. We shared the podium at the US Library of Congress for Florida Poets Arrive, and my publisher also brought out her poetry book, Zen Fishing and Other Southern Pleasures.
