Miranda Lambert is the queen of country music, and now she’ll become the 15th artist in residence at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
The CMH announcement summed up a few of Lambert’s accomplishments.
“Lambert is among the most popular and acclaimed singer-songwriters of country’s modern era. She is the most awarded artist in ACM history, and the most awarded female artist in CMA history. She is also a member of acclaimed group Pistol Annies, with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.
Since 2005, Lambert has released six Platinum albums. Her latest work is The Weight of These Wings, an expansive, challenging, creatively fulfilling set that won a best album prize from the Academy of Country Music.”
Both shows are sold out. The full announcement is posted at CMH.
