Yesterday was one of those days February loves to deliver here in North Florida. Cloudy and yucky. Not a good day to be outdoors.
So I went fishing in the Facebook pond for things to write about. I love to discover music that is new to me. It didn’t take long before I found something I really liked.
I bumped into Dave Med Music, and it broke a cloudy day.
Dave performs in Jacksonville, and he has also performed internationally. Give him a listen and you’ll see why.
As I worked, I listened to “Mac, the Knife,” a song most know because of Bobby Darin. Like so many other classics, the song has been around for almost a century. It’s timeless.
Dave presents that song extremely well.
He’s only got a few videos on his site—I’d like to have more! Maybe Dave could do a Facebook Live. I’d watch for sure.
Dave puts upcoming appearances on his Facebook page, and there are a couple videos on his YouTube channel. I hope to go see him in person soon. I love his voice. If I had one word to describe his performance, it’d be classy.
On his Facebook page, Dave lists artists like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, and Michael Buble as influences. He does them proud.
By the way of disclosure, Dave doesn’t know me at all, and I get no benefits for praising him. I just get excited when I hear music that touches my heart and when I hear a voice that captivates me and sends those clouds away, even briefly.
